Activated Charcoal Powder

How do I use this?
Put a pinch of powder in the palm of your hand and dip a wet toothbrush into powder. Brush teeth for one to two minutes, then rinse. Brush again with water to remove residue. Use twice daily for best results.

Do I need a special toothbrush?

No! There is no need for a special toothbrush, we recommend brushing as normal after you have used our activated charcoal powder.

How long should I brush my teeth for?
Brush your teeth as usual, in circular motion for roughly 2-3 minutes. Leave in your mouth for a few minutes after brushing for added effectiveness.

Is the powder meant to be a grey colour as mine has came and it's grey?
Yes! We use natural clay in our formulation, that's because bentonite clay is an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, and silica, all necessary for healthy enamel. Thats why the powder has a grey colouring.

How does it taste?
We have made sure there is no nasty or unpleasant taste when using our charcoal powder by adding in peppermint you will find it has a slight minty flavour.

How often should I use it?
We recommend twice a day so that it forms part of your regular routine, until you are happy with the results.

Is your product tested on animals?
Absolutely not! We would never condone, promote or sell products which have been tested on animals.

Coconut oil has a tendency to harden in cooler temperatures, if the sachet feels hard all you need to do is rub it between your hands for a few minutes to warm through.

You can use your sachets at any time of day, but we recommend using it after brushing your teeth, for added whitening use a sachet after you have used our activated charcoal powder.

Can I use the sachets with braces?
Oil pulling is completely natural and will not effect your braces, nor does it bleach teeth so it won’t leave braces marks, it is a great way of cleaning behind your braces. If you are worried we would recommend speaking with your dentist first.

Can I use the sachets while pregnant?
Yes! It is perfectly safe to use during pregnancy. If you are still worried consult with your doctor.
